QA Analyst

Department: Business Consulting
Location: Indianapolis, IN

This is a great time to join our team at CSpring! Our Business Consulting team has an immediate opening for a full-time, QA Analyst. Our QA Analysts participate in meaningful projects that have an impact locally, nationally, and globally. You will be a true partner to our clients, dedicated to making each client a raving fan. As a CSpring Consultant, you will work with a team to develop state of the art solutions to business problems. You will interact with our clients and project teams, leverage your business and technical skills, discuss solutions with team members, and analyze client needs to develop important solutions. You will be a true partner to our clients, dedicated to making each client a raving fan.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and update Quality Control checklists and other components of the QMP.
  • Provide objective review and evaluation of INvest Project functional activities and work products.
  • Proactively identify observations, risks, and opportunities for enhancements and explain recommendations related to technical activities and work products.
  • Review functional requirements, design documentation, data conversion documentation, outputs, testing documentation, and training documentation for conformance to project objectives, using Quality Control checklists and professional judgement.
  • Provide clear and concise feedback to address any shortcomings identified during QC reviews.
  • Observe project meetings and working sessions, including Agile sprint ceremonies, to confirm proper process execution and effective participation by State and vendor personnel.
  • Create clear documentation of any quality-related observations for inclusion in QA Assessments and other quality-related reports.
  • Contribute to responses to any quality-related findings identified by the IV&V vendor.

 

Qualifications:

  • Two years of software development experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
  • Superior organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail and quality to document options and persuasive recommendations.
  • Exposure to Agile development processes.

 

Desired:

  • Two years of software development experience using Salesforce platform.
  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
  • Two years of experience in Agile development.
  • Experience working with state government system implementation projects.
  • Experience with Child Support Enforcement system implementations.
  • Experience on QA teams invluding reviewing plans, reviewing schedules, validating deliverables, evaluating business processes, etc.
  • Experience assessing configuration management processes, issues, and management.
  • Experience assessing requirements analysis and requirements traceability, risks, and the risk management process.
  • Experience assessing test plans and procedures, developing test scripts, and conducting system, integrations, and user acceptance testing.
  • Experience assessing Implementation approaches, plans, schedules, and materials.
  • Experience analyzing against and referending IEEE Software Quality Assurance Standards.
